No more echo

My wife has a T610 through T-Mobile. We're in the Philadelphia area (West Chester). For about two months, we've had problems with huge echo whenever I called her, or she called out, using the HFL.

Sometime this week it just stopped. No change to the phone, nothing done to the car, nothing that I'm aware of. We're not putting the phone in a different place or anything.

How about that???

Sounds like your service provider fixed a problem with their echo cancellers.

Another thing you might want to try when your phone starts echoing is to do a power cycle. Turn the phone off and turn it back on.

Too excited

Hmm.

I must have been too happy. Today the echo came back!

I shouldn't have posted - the phone must have heard me!

If enough people call into customer care and complain, they will send techs out there to check out the towers.

Not really

Sorry I just saw this...been busy.

I would say its been better, but about 20% of the time I get really bad echo.

I've been trying to take notes as to where the car is when it happens, etc., but unfortunately nothing that is positive or consistent.

A cheap possible solution would be a firmware upgrade...email/pm me for details.

Transfer solved echo

Yesterday called my wife in the car...horrible echo.
She pulled over and transferred the call to the phone, no echo.
Transferred it back to the phone and no echo.

Any thoughts?
