i just installed a alpine 9813 h/u, and hooked up my infinity basslink, but for some reason the remote control for the basslink will not increase or decrease the bass, neither does the subwoofer control on the deck itself, any fix to this?

 

Well, your deck needs to have a third preout with RCA cables attached to the amp in order for you to be able to control the sub from your deck other than lowering the bass for all the speakers.
As for the bass control unit, maybe its not compatible with your amp.

 

but the amp is already built onto the basslink, the basslink is a self enclosed amp/sub, i've got two rca cables goin to the sub, because that's all there is to plug into
