Newbie, Just Needed A LIL Approval From You Experts
Hey,
Im new to this forum and before I continue with my question, yes I have done my research, I have done whatever to not piss any of you guys off ahead of time. I just wanted approval of the future setup Im going to approach to my 1999 3.2 TL.
Headunit: Pioner DEH-P80MP
Speakers: Front/Rear 6 1/2 Alpine Type R (4)Ohms 50RMS Each
Amp: Power Acoustik POWPS4600 (4 Channel ) (4)OhmsRMS 70 X Channel
Wiring: 4Gauge, Existing Rem Wire, (4) RCA Cables
Misc: Headunit Aftermarket Braket & Wiring Harness.
Setup: Replace stock sound system, replace with new system listed above, replace stock at same location with new amp, using existing speaker wires to power speakers, run 4gauge wiring and RCA cables, and using existing rem wire.
Question: Would all of this work as I have said it? Its not lot to do, just the headunit is a pain and replacing the stock amp with the power acoustik. Now with the amp situation, Im a student and the power acoustik has about every freature Im looking at, and its going to be in the same place as the stock amp, no one will be able to see it. So tell me what you guys think?!, Thanks!

OK the Type R speakers are a good start man. And the power acoustik amps are not bad for the money. I use to have it in my sisters RSX and it was a awesome amp. How about a sub. I also dont know much about that cd though.
How about buying the Premier Series for the deck buy the DEH-P8MP you should be able to find it at an independant dealer, about the same price, high volt preout 2 year manufacturer's warranty
Yep Thanks, with the sub Im going to get either 2 12's Alpine Type R or 2 12 JL w3pt2. The problem is that, Im a student currently, so its tough for me at the same time. That setup I have given before was only for interior speakers not subwoofers and whatnot. Thanks everyone for the comments. any suggestions, I am open too, I will look forward to the Permier edition
premier edition is always offered to independants you will not find these models at a big box store, Support the independant dealers!
