New system help

For everyone that's been wiring their sytems I had a few questions in mind.

1. Where and how would I drill a hole safely through the firewall on the drivers side for the Power cables? I already know there's a place on the passengers side, but I plan to run the RCA's down there.

2. How hard is it to remove all the siding on the floor panels to run the cables through? Can anyone post up pictures or know of a place that has an instructional?

3. Lastly, are there any problems from directly wiring the system from the stock headunit? Or is an aftermarket equalizer needed to preamp the signal to the amp in the back?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You'll need an LOC. Get a good one! Not the $20 ones.

Look for the other info by searching the forum.

Good luck!
