If I get a new amp for 2002 acura tl will I be able to easily connect it to the factory sub or would I need a new sub?

I'm sure it's possible...but I think an aftermarket sub would probably do you better.

 

What are you trying to do? Just upgrade the factory sub? If so, there's a thread in the DIY/FAQ/Info thread. If you're trying to upgrade the amp without upgrading the speakers then it's pretty pointless.

 

I see your frustrations but tone it down a notch..
