Neon polarity

Does neon tubes have polarity? I am going to convert my footwell lighting to neon. Would they work if the polarity is reversed? If it won't work, will it kill the neon?

no... i asked this question before when i installed the neons in my footwells too.. if the polarity is reversed its simple.. the neon won't light... it will only light when the polarity is correct and it won't mess up the light either.. good luck...
