Need your opinions (Replacing Stock CD Player with In-Dash Navi) 01 CL

All of this really stems from my freaking tape player breaking which I was using to play my iPod through. My only other options were to buy an FM Transmitter which I can't stand...or to install it to the CD Changer in the trunk since I don't have an AUX port. During a trip to Best Buy...I saw this and got an idea.

What if I were to replace the existing CD/Tape Players with this Pioneer In Dash navi? That way I will get the iPod connectivity that I need, as well as Video playback from the iPod, DVD, and divX as well. The problem is...my 01 CL has a stock Navi...so would it be tacky to have a aftermarket screen right under the factory Navi?

Is it possible to disconnect the audio from the current stock Navi and just have the audio going through the aftermarket? I would just use the Stock Navi for the on screen temp controls and use the aftermarket for everything else.

Yay or nay?
