Recently, I got all my car audio stolen (my Kicker, etc.). I need a new system, and am very limited in budget. My friend works at Circuit City so he can hook me up with that stuff.

I had a system before and noted many flaws. My goals for a system are:

1. not POUNDING noise, a nice clean bass
2. people in the back of my car before could ONLY hear bass and no treble

I have the stock head unit. I can only choose from MTX, Profile, Sony, and Bazooka. Can anyone recommend me what to do and what model to buy to make a decent system? (i kno i have sh*t to work with, but can you guys recommend anyway?)

umm.. well first start off with a sony head unit for sure
they have some of the best in the biz
i'd take the cdx-m660 or 770
amazing decks, kinda pricey, but well worth the price

as for components.. umm.. don't they sell infinity perfects at circuit city???? they sound pretty decent
(sorry i'm from canada and i'm comparing this place with future shop)

umm.. as for amps and subs... i dunno.. mtx and sony i guess... dunno much about the amps and subs for all 4 brands
