Question 1998 rear deck 6x9

I'm replacing the 6x9s in my 1998 TL. It looks like I have to remove the grill to gain access to the screws to remove the old speakers. Before I go prying, could someone confirm that this is the correct method? I'm 99% sure, but don't want to go tearing stuff.

Thanks!:

:D

go into your trunk
and there are about 3 or 4 scres under the mesh grille thingy (sorry i dunno if its 3 or 4, i changed mine like 3 years ago)

but just unscerw them first (From the trunk)
then just easily pop out the mesh grill from the cabin

Thanks. Found the screws, there was 3 of them. Kinda a strange way to attach the grills though. Sure am glad I didn't try to pry them off!

New 130 watt 6x9s are living in my TL now, they are awesome!
