Need a little advice

OK so here's the deal: I had Infinity 62.9's in front but returned them because I can find them for less on crutchfield.ca

Now, I want to order a new set of 6.5's in front and 6x9's in the back. I also do not want to add an amp or subwoofer and want to keep the stock radio (1st gen TL). I'm not TOO picky with audio. All I need is clear sound without distortion at medium sound levels as I don't blast my music.

So question is what should I get? I was thinking of getting Infinity Kappas but they are 2 ohm whereas the stock HU is 4. From what I read on here it's not really good to use speakers with lower impedance than the radio (I'm a noob). Therefore, should I get 4 ohm speakers instead?

Also, what are the main differences between running 2 ohm vs 4 ohm speakers with a 4 ohm head unit besides the fact that 2 ohm would be half as loud (or something like that). Does it affect sound quality (distortion)?

I tried searching, but just couldn't come up with the answers so please don't flame. I'm just looking for something that'll sound half-decent.

Honestly not really. I don't really want to spend more money on it, and then it's a pain in the ass to install it. I just want some half decent speakers that will sound OK with what I have right now.

I see. You'll see an improvement with just aftermarket speakers, but they'll be under-utilized.
