Need infos on what we need for buiding multimedia system.

Hi guys,
I really need some infos on what we need to get a multimedia playing. What i want is to put 3 TVs in the car. I don't want to go with a motorized in dash lcd because it't too expensive. What I was thinking is to get the clarion 6.4 inch screen and 2 other farenheit 5 inch for the headrest and a in-dash DVD. Do you know if i'll need the AVC tuner to play my DVD, and PS2?
And will i need something special to run all 3 TVs at the same time?
Thanks guys in advance for your answers.
And remember...STICK WITH THE JAPANESES...

the pioneer avc-rgb1 is only needed IF you have a car with navigation AND you want to use the navi monitor as a video display. now if you intended on using ordinary monitors (as opposed to flip out types that also work as radios) then all you need are the monitors, a video switching source (especially if you intend of hooking up a couple of video sources and allowing all monitors the ability to select any), some video sources and probably a fm modulator to feed in the audio signal (if you have a stock radio). you mentioned in dash dvd player, will this also act as a radio or are you augmenting your stock radio with this piece? this will make a difference...

i have done the nav conversion (not fully functional yet, but the unit is in) so the navi display will be one monitor. i plan to add two more monitors for the headrest and keeping all of the stock bose system for now. if i go with an alpine system, it will be the TCS tv tuner/switcher combo, two M750 monitors, DHA dvd changer, probably psONE, and i have one more input on the TCS unit for another source (the M750 monitors will each also have one extra input for itself). i am also thinking about adding an exterior video camera somewhere. when...who knows, maybe when i win the lottery!

The thing is i don't have a navigation system.
So basically, from what your telling me, i don't necessarely need a AVC if i only need hook up a in dash DVD, because the DVD is one source, and the screen already has an input????
thanks for your advice

yes, no avc-rgb1 is needed if you are putting in an entirely new system. the new video sources will have the outputs and the new monitors will have the inputs...just wire them together.

Thattttt's right. That little part that everyone's going nuts over is only if you have NAV...and want to use the same screen. AV converter is just for that. Since you're installing a source unit, you'll use the output on the source unit, split it however many ways you need for your screens, and run the RCA cables. Easy.
