Need Help

Everytime i cutt on or off the power to the stereo my subs make a loud noise.(only happen when turn on or off) but it still play as normal. the higher i put my gain and bass up it louder it gets.

Try some better RCA cables, what amp do u have?

sometimes u cant get rid of it period. what head unit u have. is it like a thud thud if u have a factory hu it cuz ur amp is cuttin on at the same time ur radio is most aem hu's have a delay if i remember right. also hows ur ground. on my old set up i had everything done right and it was still there

Pioneer D3, yeah like a thud thud noise, my ground looks good. i think it the screen cause when i had my jvc cd player it didnt do it............ the amp is a 3000 watt pro asctic or wadever

Prolly the head unit, alot of the pioneers have that problem

How old is your amp?I know some older mosfet amps dont have a soft turn on or thump eliminator.

i dont know how old the amp is, i got it from a friend. i have a feeling it the screen but iono what the problem is. Is that thumping noise going hurt the subs?

Mines does that too. I have a pioneer DD. I don't mind it. Everything is hooked up right also

Its prolly the H.U. he said that when he had the JVC it didnt do it. We have had several people come in with a Pioneer deck and had the same problem as well as noise coming thru the mids/highs. Shouldnt hurt ur subs but i dont think u can fix the problem unless u get another H.U. If u have any buddies with a system already in their vehicle hook urs up in there and see if it still makes the thud/thump and that should tell u if its your H.U. or not
