need help

Hey guys I drive a 1999 Acura Tl non navi. I want to upgrade head unit because the stock ones stink and im sure a lot of you had problems with burned cds....I want to keep my stock speakers for now but everyone keeps telling me i have to have a custom buit tray for the head unit. Then someone told me that metra made one and i cant find it. Any alterinatives or where can i find this kit to put a aftermarket headunit? and also about my speakers can i keep them? Is there gona be a problem when i put my head unit. Thanks in advance

ps is a canadian model but i live in altanta i dono if that makes a difference

no you dont need a custom made kit. metra made a kit (99-7868) for our cars. you can get them at circut city and places like that
