easy to do

You can easily remove the center console.
1)Open your center console compartment fully.
2)Remove the two pieces of fake wood trim that run along the sides of the console. Just dig your fingers underneath and pull them straight up as you wiggle them.
3)Look at the bottom of your center console compartment and remove the carpet insert. You'll see two screws which you'll need to remove.
4)Remove the two screws midway along the center console that were hiding underneath the wood trim.
5)Grasp the center console from the rear, and pull it up. It should slide off.
6)Reach in and disconnect the wiring harness.
7)Take the center console out of the car and store it in a safe place.

eh voila

thank bebber, now i got another question, how do u take the factory deck out?? well.. i really don't need the deck to be out, if it not needed, all i need is how to get to the harness of the deck unplug? so i can hook up to my LOC {line out converter} and should i install my LOC before or after the bose equlizer? and for people have a 1 inch spacer for the speaker, do you glue them to the door?? if so what type of glue you using?? ohhhh.... one last thing what color is the remote turn on wire? i know...... i know..... i ask alot of question, but this is my first time install on a TL, i had install on my accord before, but i never expect to be this hard on a TL and i'm working on my own because i'm enjoy hooking it up and have pride on my work, it's a hobby thing for me thank again

I've never taken out the headunit, but there are screws that are visible once you remove the wood trim. I'd remove those first and play around with it to see what else needs to come out.

Tap into the HU speaker outputs before the EQ. You should bypass the EQ for flatter freq response if you plan on putting in aftermarket speakers. I don't know about gluing the spacers to the door. Who says you have to glue them at all? Can't you just screw the whole thing back together?

maybe someone else can give you the color code for the turn-on wire
