Does anyone know if I can get find these somewhere on the car? I had the transmissioned worked on, and they un plugged the battery, and I don't have code (bought the car used). It's the weekend, and I can't call the dealer, any help? Thanks.

 

call this number....taken from the acura.com web site... Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard time at the toll-free number (800) 382-2238. give them the VIN number and ask them who the original dealer was ( the dealer the car was shipped to when it was new. they have the records.) when they give you that dealership, call that dealership, give them the VIN number and ask them for the code. they should be able to give it to you. they might ask you to come in and show some verification of ownership. hope that works...it worked for me on my 98 cl when i bought it used.

 

thanks, but I think the orginal dealership is accross the country....plus I was kinda looking for the code before I had to leave on this 4hour trip......4 hours of silence........ugh...

 

check on the deck itself (sides, back, bottom), sometimes its written on there, or pull the ashtray out and it might be on the bottom of that. Also, check in the owners manual if you got one, it might be in there. Or call the person/dealer you got the car from and ask them. The only option left is if you have an Acura dealer near you... they will be able to fish it out for you somehow, even if the car came from across the country, all you need to do is show proof of ownership.
