Same here. Viper 690 on mine. I also wish it had a clock on it, but so far so good. Best alarm I've had.

Clifford, Viper, Python, Valet, Hornet, etc are all made by DEI. I know on the newer valet pageback alarms there is a clock on it, but i'm not so sure on python, viper, or clifford. As far as which to get, they are really all the same, with maybe the exception of the clifford. From what I know of DEI clifford has a little bit better range, but otherwise you can't go wrong with any of them.

That being said, find a really good installer. that will make or break the overall efectiveness of the alarm. I garuntee you if you looked though my alarm on my tl you wouldn't even know it was there if it weren't for the LED. A decent installer ought to be able to hide the brain well and cover the wires to help keep would be theives from being able to disarming it.

ok, so an alarm isn't something i shouldn't install myself??

also, what does a clock do?

yeah, i want a pager alarm thing that lets me know whent the alarm went off, but i can't find any website that has all the specs of each alarm, the best i've found is diff model numbers for different prices, but i don't have a clue as to what eacch model comes with

If you're really worried about thieves, consider extra hood pins, glass sensors, and a back up battery. Cost you 100+ more, but the ease of mind is there.

Like the other replies can't go wrong with the DEI products. Almost all alarms have the basic functions, you just have to tailor the additionals sensors and stuff to your specific needs. An alarm is just an alarm, but the quality of installation is the KEY. Another pricey alarm system is the Compustar. I heard they are suppose to be the top off the line of all alarms, don't quote me on that. Good luck on narrowing the choices down.

Why do you need the clock on the remote?
