I am looking for a wiring diagram for the 2005 Acura TSX w/navi. I am installing an amp and sub, and using the rear left speaker for a high level imput to the amp, but I don't know which wires are positive and which are negative.

The 2 wires I have is a blue and yellow one, and a pink and brown one. According to some default acura diagrams I found online the positive should be the blue and yellow, but they all say the negative should be grey.

Anyone out there have a wireing diagram for the 2005 tsx w/navi?

 

No, the 2005 Helms manual has the same info as the 2004, but if you go by the PIN location instead of the color you are fine. Just use the scan of the 2004 and look at the pin locations.

Why are you doing what you're doing, though? I don't understand...

 

My amp has a built in high level input. Since i am using the factory head unit, I just wanted to splice into the 6X9's who's wires are exposed in the trunk to get the High level inputs for the amp. The only problem is I don't want to put the possitive and negatives in the wrong holes on the amp.

If that's all you are doing, you don't need the coils. Just make sure that the L and R side terminals are matched up - i.e., you use the same speaker wire terminal for (+) on each side.

If you get them both backwards from the rest of the car, it's irrelevant, as long as you are consistent from side to side.
