It seems like mine is outdated and need a new and updated disc. Anyone know where the cheapest place is? My unit is a alpine NVE-852A

does it matter that it isn't a stock navigation unit at acura? its a alpine nve-852a?

 

i see that alpine's website has them for 300 bucks but i really don't want to pay that much for a dam disc

 

eBay for a older version.. I know people on here sell their old factory Navi discs when they get a new one.. I'd say that's your best bet for the price..

just to let everyone know for the future that i called alpine and they said they are specifically made for that model so the answer is no to buying other dvd's by alpine for acura/honda etc.. And it is going to cost 300 dollars. at that price it better be bad ass

Couldn't find anything on there. i saw one dude had an extra disc other then the setup together he was selling but never replied from my pm's so i guess that means he doesn't want business.

 

I would also try getting together with another member to Borrow their factory Acura/Alpine disc. You never know, sometimes the lack of info prompts companies to say that things aren't compatible. The worse you could find out is that you know first hand it won't work.

 

i can do that but i am not sure how trustworthy members are with their equipment like that. I will make a post and see if anyone is willing
