navigation antenna question

ok I have a random one here, I have a '99TL but I put in a newer DVD navigation unit. I need to get a new GPS antenna because I stripped out my original one when I put in this new unit (not good to be in a hurry). It has worked ok but recently it keeps loosing the signal or not finding one at all so I want to replace it and see if that helps.

so my question is the part # is different on the 99 -01 vs the 02 and 03 one and I do not know what year my DVD unit is. anyone know if there is a real differnence?

try a local gps store- they are in many cities now, ask them for the best option for your unit--may be different than stock setup will get best readings
