If it has RCA audio outputs to the FMM you can.

yes i think that they are the same. i called avelectronic last week and asked them if they still have the one with the built in tv tuner, they told me that they dont make them anymore. you will have to get the video switcher instead. that kinda sucks for me because i wanted the one with the built in tv tuner. that will fit me the best i think.

ok so the SNhond3 takes a audio signal and directly inputs into the cars system does it sense the signal automatically or is there a switch? And itsnot like an FM modulator so no radio stations...Im just curious on how it will all work with each other. I am trying to run the video i have running from my PS2 and headrest screens to the navy and have the CD/DVD audio quality. The FM modulator really brings the quality and power level down. So any ideas?

Yep it does exactly what you want. It will take RCA inputs and plug into the factory deck. There is no automatic switch/sense. You get to it by pushing the CD button until you see "CD-C" This input is usually used for CD changers, both the SNHOND3 & Blitzsafe both convert the CD changer input into an input that accepts RCA's.

You're gonna plug the audio cables coming from the ps2 into the RCA inputs of the SNHOND3.

Source -> Adapter -> Output
Ps2 -> SNHOND3 -> Factory TSX Navi Headunit.

Look for the Blitzsafe, I heard it doesn't require splicing if you have Navi, I'm not sure if the SNHOND3 has newer version that won't require splicing. The SNHOND3 and Blitzsafe are the different versions of the same thing though.

Hope this helps man. I would do it you'll get way way better sound. Close to or at CD quality.

Does it have to hook into the parking-brake switch?

If the unit does not contain the built-in TV Tuner does it still need to be connected to the parking brake switch?

no.. just ground the "parking brake switch" to any point and then you can use it at any time
