Navi serial number location
Since having my car serviced I need to enter the navi code. I've called Acura and they don't have a record of the navi systems serial number for my car so they need me to give them the systems serial to get the security code for them.
I've tried using the serial number on the back of the DVD player in the trunk but that didn't work.
They suggested there may be a sticker in the glove compartment but that's not the case. My owners manual for has the serial number for the radio but not the navi system. I would really not like to pull the navi system to get it and the screws on it were frozen when I installed my Ice-Link (had to just reach behind it to plug it in) so it might not even help to try to pull it.
Anywhere else I can find the navigation system's serial number?

CL-S 6Speed is rarely in
I needed to give them the serial number under the DVD player. You have to remove it from the brackets. There's a sticker on the bottom with another serial number. The code that acura gave me was no good. The service girl mentioned something about leaving the last one or two digits off the serial number and it sometimes gives them a different number. She did this for me and got the right number. Good Luck.

EDIT: If your bracket bolts are frozen stuck, there are a few screws that hold the drive to the brackets. You can remove those screws and the drive will come out. Just make sure to unplug it first.

I gave them the full serial number (started and ended with a letter and had numbers in between) and they gave me 2 different codes for it. They said it would be one of them. It was the 2nd code they gave me.
