Post Navi question

Just got my new TL-S w/navi. Is it possible to shut it down after you have pressed menu or map guide without cutting ignition? Sometimes I have the map guide on or I have input a destination but later want just the big clock or blank screen.

Put it in screen saver mode. Don't ask me how, I don't have navi.

Thanks, Nate, I think I'll install 3-D Pipes, I like that one. Does anyone else have an intelligent thought?

Yes go to the small setup box at the bottom of the screen. When you press it the setup screen will come up this will have the controls for volume, brightness, etc. Also it will have a buttom to turn it OFF. The clock can also be made larger if you don't want the map screen ON. Also the clock can be made larger to the screen if you just push the small clock numbers then they come up larger to the screen.

I can return this favor to you guys because someone helped me when I got my car. When I got my car my 10yr old nephew was pushing buttons on the Nav & had all the icons come on the screen. I did not no how to get them off someone helped me. My nephew was also pushing the buttons & made the clock come up larger. I said how did you do that & he told me push the little clock. So you can get the clock larger with the map screen off by this way or going to the set-up screen.
