- why are you getting new speakers for the rear and leaving the front stock? your supposed to do it the other way around

-it looks like you want to keep the stock speakers working, and adding aftermarket speakers. i think it would be smarter to ditch the stock speakers all together

-dont use a distribution block for ground (my opinion)

-whats with the 5.1 dts? when your listening to music wont it sound messed up? even if your watching a video, since your not sitting in the middle of the car, youll hear certain speakers more than others giving a really odd effect. (just asking, correct me if im wrong)

No Mr tl, Im not replacing the rear stock speaker either. Im adding an extra rear pair for my DTS 5.1 Surround Sound.

Im not an expert on the DTS stuffs, but isn't that true that the 5.1dts sound effect suppose to cover further left and right from the center point about 20-30 degree???? and you can adjust speakers individually to match your preferences????

If no distribution block, the do i screw all the ground together or separately???

ohhh, now i see. your adding new speakers JUST for the dts setup. thats good

if the dts is adjustable like you said, it sounds like a go. just make sure it is, and that each speaker covers a 20-30degree angle like you said. i didnt know that

i always say its smarter to use a factory ground point for ground. get quality terminal rings, and use a factory ground point. i have 2 amps on the same point, so youll be ok

I know for sure that my home system can adjust each speaker individually and the surround effect still good even im totally off center. But i don't know if this car dts piece can do all that or not .... Hey won't hurt to try it right ?????

DniCeE TL : The new rear surround speaker is the JBL component that is only 7/8" depth .... i installed it on the rear pillar ... right at the ear level about 8 inches above the rear wimpy headrest. The sub, i have to go with free air sub, so either kicker, pioneer, kenwood or jbl ... whoever has the one that can handle 600W from my amp will get my money
