My Sub amp just DIED!!!

I wonder what the deal is? I was listening to it normally today and all of a sudden the subs just stopped. I figgured it was a fuse, but nope all are fine. Even worse is if I smell on the amp where the fan blows out, it smells like something burned up.

I guess Ill have to send it off, or get a new on off Ebay depending on the price to get fixed. Any ideas on what went wrong?

if you smell that familiar smell of burnt electronics then there isn't likely much you can do unless you know how to do board repairs. chances are though if you open the amp up, you'll see some form of a scorch mark somewhere on the board wher some component shorted out. I take it there isn't any warranty on the amps.

my subs stoped working when my amp came ungrounded last week and as soon as I regrounded them they started working fine. So check that but if u have a bad smell then that is a bad sign.
