my sub and amp combo is messed

i tried to put speaker wire sto hook it up but it dont work its messed like thudding sounds constantly from subs my audio guy told me to buya bose rca wire converter and it will probably work what u guys think?

it should work even without the converters. make sure all your wires are correctly connected and that none of them speaker wires are crossed connected.
