I just bought the snhond3 for my 2004 non-navi TSX and I hooked it up to my stereo and nothing is happening when i press the CD/AUX button twice? Do I need a power source for the SNHOND3 or could I have done something else wrong? Please help guys!

 

I vaguely remember there being a bad batch of them, that might be it?

 

Make sure to turn the ignition on and then off.

If that doesn't work. Make sure the power is off on the radio. Then take the harness out of the factory HU and try to put it back in. It should work.

 

i had mine installed yesterday and today i had an issue with it, i was driving along listening to sat. radio and than it made this nasty sound and then there was silence. so i pulled over pulled out the center compartment to check the wiring and the only thing i could think of was that the way the shop shoved the shond3 back there with the rest of the 100 other wires behind the dash caused some interference. so i now have the shond3 inside the compartment seperated from the rest of the wires and it has worked for the 20 or so minutes since i drove home from work. hopefully that was the extent of that issue...

nope its not working right anymore, i'm pissed, i might just return it and live without satellite radio.

 

Just have them try to fix it again. Probably just a loose wire or something.

It should be man. The SNHOND3 is a pretty simple install.

Go in there and tell them you're pissed though. Let them know that if they don't get it right this time, you want them to take that shit out.

 

it works intermittently, not sure what is going on with it...

 

well i bought the Blitzsafe DMX V.2 adapter and gave that a itry and so far so good, hopefully it was just that snhond3 causing the problems before,
