The reason that the screen is on the bottom is cuz when the screen flip up it won't cover half of my navi screen. I got an amplified external speaker for the navi that I mounted under the dash also intergrate the navi mute with my apline monitor so when the navi talk it mute the radio. And yes all work were done myself

So you have the external alpine speaker the ka-55 something and you have it setup to mute when navi speaks? What input on your deck is it plugged into to allow that?

I like! Only thing i would suggest is to make the trim panels one piece so it flows nicely. It looks to broken up with the numerous trunk trim pieces there now. It looks very cut and paste. For that money you should get a better finish for the trunk. But it looks very nice. Oh yeah...switch to one color neon. It will look cleaner.

How does it sound?

Mtoker.. I took the audio out of the navi and hook it up to the alpine speaker and that does the voice gudiance part. the navi give out a positive siginal when it try to mute your radio. on my radio there is a mute wire but it take ground to mute it. so I just use a relay to reverse the polarity of the navi.
