My new custom built 18" check her out

Well Just got every thing together. Parts are a 18" re mt d1 quad spider recone 18" basket powder coated slime lime green(by myself) as I wanted something different and you dont see many green baskets, and a mach 5 spl motor. Gonna have it put together in a few days. Should be a monster. Prob gonna just sell her as I have changed my build plans. But enjoy

Good lookin woofer. Nice choice of motors too. I'd love to try out some of the Mach 5 stuff, but never had a chance to.

Near charlotte. Wont get installed most likely. Prob gonna sell it. I have located another mach 5 spl motor. N since I have another 18" basket, I may order another recone and sell them as twins. Make someone a slammin system.

That's one idea. Or take that other SPL motor, and built yourself a 10...

Well im in the process of reconing a sundown audio e8(well when jacob releases the e8 recone parts). Im trying to decide what color to powder coat the basket. Thinkin white red or green. Could always make a lil brother for this monster lol. Sorry for the blurry pics the beast in the back ground just has to much power n interferes with everything around it lmao

Well got bored today and shot it white. Turned out great I think. Would look even better with a white cone or something. I just threw a old recone in (one with broken leads) for pictures. I wish u could reuse old coils especially since they r still good just broken leads

t/s specs would be handy to understand what enclosure and operating characteristics we're dealing with here.

Wait, you built a sub but you don't know the specs of it?

Get a damn WT3 man! If you build woofers it should be in your inventory.

My head hurts from analyzing your logic. How are you going to tune a box to perform with your new sub if you don't know the T/S specs?

I built it for the fun of it. I usually just do regular recones, but couldnt find a mt motor. So got the mach 5 motor. They are pretty much the exact same motor. So specs should be right at the same. And as said I'm selling it. It's not my problem after that. Customer can do with it as they wish. I usually do 18's around 6 cubes tuned low as hell. I like 30 hz. And let her slam.
