Flip screen stuck, have to pull up a little to make it move.
Anyone have the problem with the flip screen on this unit?

 

Well anyways. At this for about a month now sending and resending the unit back to the site I ordered from.

The first unit was stuck half way through the flip, blocking the DVD drive, sent that back, got a new unit. This time the screen flips down, good thing, now able to watch DVD`s on it. But it does the same thing the other unit did, it nudges upward and gives up. Like a retarded robot. You look at it like," Ahh, its trying to get up on its own."

At this point I either send the unit back for a third unit, or I send it to a Clarion repair station for a fix. Anyone looking for this unit, go for it, its a great unit, just had bad luck i guess.

you might have a screw in too tight on the dash kit, or there could be a problem with the way the dash kit was put it..

 

Hmm...I guess it might be the screws-dash kit...But the MAX675VDII was doing it prior to placing it into the dash. I think its the unit itself. Nice unit, but it might have a problem with the alignment of the gears. Just a little warning for those who might purchase this unit.

 

I'd just keep testing it outside of the dash kit until you get a good one..
