What do u guys think of the new 9500 MTX. I was just reading a magazine and saw a ad for MTX saying "Thunder 9500 Vs W7." DO you all think JL has finally found its Match.

 

MTX has always made really good stuff. And at great value. Their amps have always been some of the best bang for buck, with high sound quality. I have never been a big fan of their subs however and I used nothing but MTX amps for a while. I am not sure if they are quite up to JL standards. Maybe they can, but, that is going to be a high mountain to climb.

 

LOL... hell no... MTX subs are not even close to jl audio... the only sub that i have seen that is even close to the w7 is the idmax... but i will give mtx props on there amps... they give very good performance for the money....

 

ditto on that. mtx subs suck. their amps however: awesome clean power for the money.

Concept

I am using an old model of concept' s 12in and I was getting over 140db in a Pickup without cutting into the bed. I wil give you guys a db reading when I install my system

I remember when I first got into car audio, I wanted all MTX gear. THinking MTX was the king of all. Still there amps are pretty nice.

 

But we all need to look at the big picture, XTANT subs and amps blow them all away, not to cheap but just blows everythjing else away

 

Do some more reasearch B4 saying something like that.


I reccomend the Concept website you won't be talkin about Xtant anymore.

 

Concept Isnt bad stuff but its just considered on the budget systems.

Xtant stuff is damn nice its just like I hate toyota but love lexus.
