Morning guys.... I just got a pair of RCE 216 and the RCE 269. I was curious if the number on the back of the speakers shoud be the actual model Numbers? I see RWE 160 and RWE 269 on the back of the speakers. Did I get screwed?
Any help quickly would help if any one know first hand. I have looked and havent found a pic online of what the back of the RCE 216. If the Numbers are not associated with the model No. then all is cool.

As a side note I ordered the dke 169 and I was sent the RCEs 169 Coax...... yea but if it is the wrong speaker all together then I was just screwed all round... not even with the assistance of Vasoline..... Ouch i know this has big potential to hurt... Let me know what you guys think..

 

You did not get screwed... the part no is different than the kit no. A kit includes lotsa parts, the speaker drivers are only a single component among many.
