made my appointment to get...

my ps2 put in this friday. will let you know how it goes and will definately post pics. quicksilver, where did you put the ps2? my only main concern is because ps2 has the on/off switch it will draw power if my engine is off. i was thinking under the seat but then i couldn't reach the switch.

I'm thinking of getting a DVD or TV receptor installed!

Where did you get the video output installed? Did it yourself?

It's not a problem. Make sure to tell them that you want the PS2 to only be hot when the ignition is turned on. Problem solved.

yeah but i would want to play while the engine is off. i don't want to have the engine at idle for an hour.

So then have him hook it up so there is power to the PS2 when the key is turned to postion 1, accessory position.

my ps2 runs off my power converter which i can turn on and off whenever i want.

as for the navi's screen, the screen will turn off after 5 minutes if the car is not running in order to conserver the batttery. but you can go in the the nav's secret test mode, then the screen will never turn off

where is the power converter, and where is the ps2? i'm having a hard time to find a place to put it. i want a place to where i can just park and play. don't want to go to the trunk and turn it on or change the game. and hurry 'cause i'm getting it done tomorrow

since i take my ps2 in and out of my car ( dont want it stolen ) then it just chills on the back seat and doesn't move at all. it's a good spot for me because i can take it out easy, AND it's easy to access for changing CD's or what-not
