Posted the same question in the cl section but was referred here. When I bought the car at the auction there was no dvd-rom for my 01 Cl-S so I didn't know there was even a pin # for the system, so didn't even ask about it. I want to get a dvd-rom to start using my system but understand some function need the pin# to operate. So what can I do? Some people said if you give Acura dealerships your vin # they can look it up for u, while other say you need to pay them to open up the system serial # and then get the password. So exactly which is true?

 

Retrieve the serial number from the dvd rom navi unit and take the number and your registration to the dealer or pm it to me and i will get it for you.
