looking into installing HU myself but...
it would be my first attempt at installing a HU and i was wondering if i was missing anything....i know i need a harness set, but i'm not sure which one i should use also i know ther are no dash kits avaible yet so i think i will have a local shop make one. what else do i need besides wire taps and stuff like that.........also tips would be helpful.......

They should made a harness kit for our cars. If not, there was one kit that is compatible. I usually prefer to solder my connections and put elec tape for them.

So a 2001 Accord harness will work with our cars?
