I just got a realy nice 96 tl and am prepairing to go frankenstien on it and cram all my stereo into it.

This is my third vehicle with the damn double din stereo in the dash. I don't want to stuff a hookey looking after market dash kit in that puts a huge flat black panel above and below the CD player.


What i am looing for is a way to put the CD player at the bottom and a slot at the top that i can put some CD cases or sunglasses or what ever in.

is there a place i can get a slot that will fit above the CD player? and will i need to get some sort of custom mounting kit??


Any help is apreciated. just FYI the cd player i'm putting in is a Kenwood eXcelon 796 single din reciever.
