LOC or not?
I have looked over this thread multiple times and still cannot figure this out....

Do we need a line out converter or can we just use one of these?

Currently our Amp is getting power so it must be a signal problem
Here is where we are right now.

Can someone confirm that these are in fact the signal wire for the factory amp?

Thanks!

whoah...are you trying to add an amp and signal for a real sub?
if so...why are you messing with the oem amp. Run a separate remote turn on from a fuse under the dash. Much easier. BUT, that said, I THINK I recall the orange wire being remote turn on. Check with a circuit test...radio off, radio on.
As far as LOC goes...just wire that into the stock sub - and + wires, remove stock sub and connect your rca's to your amp from the LOC.

I used the remote turn on wire that activates the factory amp. Okay so use speaker wire coming out of the factory amp? I thought it was a no no to fetch a signal from a wire that has already been amplified?? I guess that is what the LOC is for.
