tapping in to the rear door speakers in the b pillar
any ideas and taped the wires in to the in put and had the switch to line out and had the rca's plugged in to the the rear output
it was working but it was using the sub as a speaker not a woofer

Make it simple and use the rear stock sub. Access it through the trunk.

tap the loc to the stock sub by going through the trunk. underneath you'll see a + and - for the stock sub. then plug in your rca's from the loc to the amp. done deal

Stock sub is amped yes? That means there's a lot more signal flowing through those wires... Your normal everyday loc won't handle that high signal, and will die on you in a fairly short time... There was another guy that had that problem on here a couple months ago or so. So, just a heads up, don't wire off the sub and come back complaining you weren't warned...
