I open the door and jiggle the rubber hose in between body and door that holds the wiring and the speaker cuts on and off (tried this after it went out on its own) I have an 05 tsx. does anyone know what is happening? is this common, seems like a loose wire or a short?
I would like to get this back to staying on permanently.

On the drivers door on the 1st gen TSX all the wiring including the speaker wires run through that rubber hose. I can’t remember what side it is on, the door or the body, (I think the door) there is an electrical connector that connects all the wires, it is apparently loose. You should be able to feel around for the connector (it is rectangular in shape) and reseat it without too much trouble.
