Hey Everyone-

New CL owner and new to the forum. I have a question about the keyless entry that comes with the '03 CL-S. I have a '01 Accord EX that came with keyless, but also had the option of upgrading with an automate (DEI) security system from Honda. Does anyone know if Acura offers this? If not, is it best to get rid of the keyless system and put a new alarm in?

You can just add a shock sensor or two then you have a complete alarm. Keep in mind, our stock system is not keyless entry, it's an alarm system missing a shock sensor.

 

thanks SilverKnight. I've always had either Clifford or Viper alarms. So going this route is new to me. Are there any brands you recommend?
