I got everything working, sound is coming in great. One problem...

There is no sound from DVD/CD source!

The radio is crystal clear and plays on all speakers. The only way to play the DVD/CD source is if I ENABLE dual zone, which is not practical because it plays two sources at the same time. A friend and I spent nearly 7 hours trying to problem solve this situation, no fix.

Any suggestions? If I don't solve this by weekend's end, I'm returning the HU to Streeteffectz for a refund.

I don't see how a HU CANNOT play a CD right out of the box. It blows my mind.

 

if you have an amp then I would say hooked up the antenia wire instead of the remote wire..

 

Yup, you hooked up the power antenna lead instead of the remote lead off the back of the Kenwood unit.
