Ken1997tl's 2002 3.5 RL Audio/Navi build
I'm currently working on installing 2004 RL parts in the '02. Complete conversion will be done in the next few months. Navigation (3.xx), navi screen, climate control, headunit and XM tuner. Aux-in will be added as well for iPod/whatever input. Door tweeters will be added most likely last.
So far got the headunit. Condition is excellent!
Now to figure out the wiring harnesses. Looks like I'll need to do a lot of splicing and more than likely buy the navigation harnesses. Hopefully I won't need the '04 amp but that might be necessary.
I'll possibly have to remove the seats and carpeting to get at all.
Since I'm in the middle of a move this will probably be done over the next few months, my free time is unfortunately limited.
Feel free to offer input or ask questions.

Below are some pictures of what I'm working with. Straight from the service manual.

As you can see completely different wiring and GA-Net II is present. Same as the 3rd gen TL and 1st gen TSX.

And below is the amplifier:

The '02 RL amplifier is listed identically, with the exception of the door twiddlers which were only on the '04.
