TL: Just out of shop, no navi, keyless doesn't work

Just out of shop, no navi, keyless doesn't work
Had repairs done after an accident. I assume the battery was disconnected during this and I need to reset the codes. No big deal, I have them. Then I tried to unlock the doors and open the trunk with the key. Nothing happened. Figured it was the battery and would charge. No such luck. I can see the indicator light on the key light up when I press them but nothing happens.
There was no "CODE" indicated but I punched in the stereo code anyway. Stereo beeps and starts playing on AM/FM and CD only. XM will not play and there is no display on the screen to enter the Navi code. Tried disconnecting the battery in hopes I could get the CODE message to come up. No such luck,.......Need some help guys and gals!

to add to my frustration......the AC has to be turned on each time I get in the car, the interior lights don't come one when you open the doors and the door locks aren't working, I have to lock the doors by hand.
