Just installed front components

I have an 03 TL-S. I just got finished installing Phoenix Gold rsd6cs components in my front doors. They are only running off my Kenwood headunit's internal power until I can install my other amp. Regardless, I'm glad I went through the headache of installing components because they have so much more detail than the usual coaxials that I'm used to. They will really sing with an amp hooked up.

The install wasn't really that bad. Finding a spot to mount the crossover took most of my time. These speakers have the exact three hole pattern of the stock speakers. You have to cut out the back of the basket on the stock spacer and use the leftover ring.

Btw...these were only $64 shipped from ebay

Nice find getting the speakers with matching screw pattern.
Do they offer a better model with the same screw pattern.

I don't think they offer a whole lot more, there is a rsd65cs, but that's just a slightly larger woofer. I measured my doors before ordering and I don't think I could have fit the 65cs, would have hit with windows down. These are very good for the money. I'm a member on diymobileaudio.com and many members there have run these sets. One guy even had 200 wrms going to each side and they took it. I was going to make an mdf spacer just to fit these but it turns out I didn't need to.
