for all that have JL W6v2 can you tell me how they compare to multiple woofers or no.

Shawhite how does the JL 12 compare to other woofer you have heard. IS it louder than 2 woofers.
I am selling my 2 12 W3v2 and wanna just go back to a single woofer.

I am lookin at the

12w6v2
13w6v2
12w7 but tahts just to much and I would need a new amp.

 

it is hard for one sub system to compete with a dual sub set up... the jl 12w6v2 sounds great but my buddy has 2 12w3s and his hits a little harder than mine does... but i think mine sounds clearer... one of the main factors in spl is the surface area of the cone... that being the case of course double the surface area will give you more spl... i think that the 13w6v2 will hit plenty hard for a single sub setup... but if you dont think that will be enough go with the 12w7...
