Alright this is the deal, my boy has 2 JL 12" W6. They have been semi used...He wants to trade for my 2 KICKER COMP 12 inchers with cheap 1000w amp, plus $200. All I would be gettin in return is the speakerz and I get to keep my box.. What do you guyz think?

 

run a 1000/1 and you'll talking serious bass with superb sound quality. The box might not be the right size though.

 

Check to see if both sets of speakers require the same air space. If your old box doesn't meet teh specs for the JL W6s, the bass won't sound very good.

I am assuming they are the original Jl W6's, Are your subs Comps or Comp VRs. If they are the VRs then dont bother trading keep them. If they are the Regular comps trade but dont give the $200.

But like babyloc86 said if they are W6v2 do it.

 

they're comps not VR's, this dude is still waitin on me to make up my mind...hehhee, he can wait...but anywayz whats the difference between VR's and regular COMPS?

 

im telling you, ur getting ripped off. that is not a fair trade unless those 2 12' are w6v2

also used the 250 for fiber glassing and make a sick trunk setup!!!

i was never a fan of Kicker product, so i advocate this deal.

If they are the original w6 then keep them. Kicker is krap.

 

he would be paying the $200, not receiving.

and anyway, good luck finding a shop to do any fiberglassing for 200 bucks.
