I just bought 2 JL Audio 12w6. and I was woundering if i could use a Audiobahn A1300HCQ it puts out 1200 Watts at 1ohm. And wire up the sub like the JL Audio website into the 1.5 ohm for the 1-ch input. would it be fine or would i be overpowering it that may cause damage to the subs????

Well a 6v2 is 400 watts RMS should be safe at about 500 watts RMS. The amp is almost a perfect match for those subs. You are gonna be thumping hard wit 2 of those.

i have 2 12inch JL W6 with a 1000 watts going into it. the W6 is 300 watts RMS. my amp in 1ohm stable but i think its wired to 2ohms. im not sure. but they both have almost 400 watts going into them continuesly. mine are really hitting and im scared of the subs blowing. i would say just be carefull not to give the subs to much power. because u have a lot of power and u might blow the subs.
