jl audio w0

im thinking about getting 2 jl w0's. don't have that much money to blow, anyone have these? opinions on them? also what amp would be good with these?

i heard the w0s were not that good. i never heard them so i don't know. i have 1 12 w3 in one of those jl pre-made boxes. i think it sounds good. much better than the mtx i had before.

the only setup i have heard with w0's was three of them together and it was way too loud

they aren't gonna be quite as tight on the really low notes as say the w3 or w6/7 but for better than average sound on a budget i give them

wo's are jl base level subs, they sound good for the price. they are not even close to the w7, though

i have 2 ten inch jl audio w0's for sale already in a carpeted box and an optional amp if your interested. work perfectly, and were plenty bass for me. even ripped off my rear view mirror a couple of times in my last car.

one of my first setups was the jl powerwedge w/2 10 w0's with 380 watts going to it, and it was pretty loud. they're arent rated for more than 125 watts each, but they had no problem with more power.

I had 2 12" W0's they were pretty impressive with 300 watts. It would def. give you a headache.

Oh yea, I forgot, they both died when the wire that goes from the terminal to the VC frayed.

ive had some of my friends ask me what kind of 12's i had, when they didnt even see the trunk.. little did they know
































they were 10's.

I have a triple 10 box with a 400 w amp and it makes my nose itch it hits so hard. the only problem is that the 3rd brake light keeps rattling. the speakers sound good for the money though, and the box they come in matches the CL's trunk perfectly

i wouldn't get them because the price difference in these and the W3's aren't that much.


Also, the quality difference of the two is definately noticable.
