You guys are kidding right?? I guarantee my 2 12inch Fosgate HX2 DVC's will out pound and 2 JL W3 or W6 12's any day. GUARANTEED!! I was in an SPL competition at Car Toys and I killed a guy that had 2 JL 12's in his Lexus.

any speaker that you get...if it's in a crap enclosure...will sound like a$$. So..there is more to a sub, then the sub itself. Also, remember the importance of a quality amp! BUT...GO JL!

there is some vlidity to all points here. If you want to go all out, I say either an RF HX2 DVC 15" or something from the w7 line from jl. Both will blow you away, but it comes down to box, and power supply. That is what will really make the difference
