what is better then 2 12" W7's & 2 1000.1 JL amps
come on people worst then that you should of bought a civic

 

the w7's are probably the best subs in the market right now....
however, i would consider other amps... like phoenix gold Ti1200.1, soundstream mono channel amps, audiobahn A18001DQ, xtant(im not sure if they have mono channel amp) are all very good choices to go with those W7's

Well, the Brahma is pretty much equal to a W7 in SPL and has an edge in the SQ category due to its flatter/longer Bl curve, hence no or very little distortion. It uses a smaller sealed box than the W7 and has less of a mounting depth, and it costs about $150-200 cheaper. Adire wins hands down in the customer service category. Both subs are similiar but in order to get the most potential out of these high SPL subs, the installation needs to be flawless. My money would be buying the Brahma. The difference in cost would just about pay for a decent amp too.
If you don't agree, then tell me why someone should buy the W7 over the Brahma?
