JL 10w6v2 VS 12w6v2 review.

I just sold my 10w6v2 to a forum member and ended up buying another one. But it was a demo.
I took my 12w7 and ported box out of my car due to the weight. The total weight was 125lbs

I will be testing a 12w6v2 in a sealed 1.25cu ft box vs 10w6v2 in a 1.4cuft ported box tuned to 34 hz. I am pretty sure the 10w6v2 should get louder. Next week I will have a nice review for people.

The 10w6v2 only needs bewteen .8 and 1 cuft after displacment. JL list .75cuft but after I plugged those # in my formula that box is close to 1.3 cuft.

ok picked up my 10w6v2 today. It was a demo at the shop used for a short period of time. It came with the sealed 10" box also. If someone is interested in the box let me know.

Next to the 10w7 (which is for sale)

10" ported is louder than 12" sealed. Also both still retained great SQ.

i had 3 10w6v2 running off 3 jl 500.1 in my tl. it sounded ok but i prefer 2 12w6v2 running off 1 jl 1001v2. i notice the 12 hits deeper and lower.

Wow 1500 watts is alot of power to the bass. My favorite setup is 2 13w6v2 and a 1000/1 in a sealed 4cuft box.
